My son has been using this mitt for two years in little league and travel baseball. He likes it a lot. When it got lost he asked for the same mitt again; but was considering others. It breaks in very quickly. While the lighter color gets stained from the red clay used here in Florida, it looks good still and the light color perimeter provides a good target for the pitcher. The condition of the glove after two full seasons is excellent.
It also fits me and I have fairly large hands. The wrist adjustment allows me to grab it and use it with no delay. So get to use the mitt to catch my son's pitching practice. I recommend this mitt for any youth player. If he becomes a full time catcher at the high school level I am sure I will drop the bigger money for a higher end mitt...but I just don't see a need at this level, and he may not want a different mitt. The nice thing is that it is useable right away and feels good to the kids. This is important when it is a gift and young kids don't understand the stiffer, thicker mitts and the break-in process. Often this fact leasds kids to dislike a better mitt because they are uncomfortable until broken in. Enjoy!

My son recently moved up to the Babe Ruth level and really needed a new glove. I was nervous because his mitt of choice was and old Lance Parrish autographed model. I was really worried he would reject any mitt that even felt new, even though he now really needs the padding. Long story short, I gave him this mitt, we played catch with it in the morning, and by that evening he was using it in a game. Breaks in easily and is holding up well. Definitely high value for the price.

I needed a mitt for to catch my 2 sons ever harder pitches. This mitt is comfortable, soft enough to squeeze right off the shelve. Who has time to break in a mitt?

This glove comes pretty well broken in and appears to be good quality, especially for the very reasonable price. Very comfortable and sharp looking as well.

Excellent purchase. My son has been catching for several years and needed a new glove. Excellent price. Significantly less expensive than the exact same glove at the brick and mortar sporting goods stores.

The mitt is a tight fit and comes semi-broke in. Was easy to use the first day with minimal hand fatigue. Good glove for teenagers to the old man trying to re-live his youth.

I love this mitt, just recived it and it was as soft as a mitt that's been use 1 year ! I'm catching with pitchers who throw 75mph pitches and my hand feels good when the ball pops in my mitt. The ball is easy to catch with this mitt because the catching surface is large enough. So I recommand it for catchers using to catch pitchers how got pitches under 80mph !
