5.0 out of 5 stars Very Comfortable
I run about 15 miles a week and these shoes are so comfortable! I have trouble with shinsplints and probably had the wrong shoes. Since I've been running in these the shinsplints have gotten better. I got a second pair.

2.0 out of 5 stars Not like the previous model
I'm an experienced runner, average 30 mpw. I bought this shoe from another site because it was on deep discount, and also because I'd loved the Inspire 4. However, the features I'd loved about the 4--snug fit, firm heel--have been changed in this shoe. In fact, this feels like a totally different shoe. The fit is too wide in the toebox for me, and the softness of the...

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for overpronators, September 8, 2009
I purchased these after putting 700+ miles on my previous pair, the Wave Inspire 2. The Wave Inspire 5 provides comfortable stability for those of us who overpronate. I would definitely recommend if you are injury prone (due to overpronation), suffer from plantar fasciitis, etc.

2.0 out of 5 stars Not like the previous model, August 15, 2010
I'm an experienced runner, average 30 mpw. I bought this shoe from another site because it was on deep discount, and also because I'd loved the Inspire 4. However, the features I'd loved about the 4--snug fit, firm heel--have been changed in this shoe. In fact, this feels like a totally different shoe. The fit is too wide in the toebox for me, and the softness of the heel caused an old achilles tendon injury to flare up. Though well-cushioned and initally comfy, I only use this shoe now to run errands.

4.0 out of 5 stars Solid Shoe by Mizuno, January 8, 2011

This shoe is a nice lightweight shoe for mid to longer distances. A mesh upper also makes it breathable, but also not warm or waterproof if you need that feature. Overall, I am very satisfied with the value of this shoe and will buy again.

5.0 out of 5 stars Feels like a pillow, great ventilation, January 31, 2010

I am on my second pair of Mizuno Women's Wave Inspire and I love this shoe. When I step into the shoe, it feels very pillowy and comfortable. Great ventilation of the feet on long runs. Looks cool too.
