I love how these shoes look and feel but they really do run small, as many other reviews say. I did order a size larger and they were still kind of snug, so I exchanged them for another 1/2 size larger. Eastbay was wonderful about the return/exchange process. Great communication through email from them. I recommend these shoes but just make sure to order a size larger!

Needed replacement shoe for the new club volleyball season... this shoe fits the bill.. it is lightweight, has good traction, and look great with those Nike black socks which are the rage right now... sizing ..I usually wear a 8.5 and it was snug worried about the lack of now space in front of my toes with forward movements and serving.. .... returned them and got a 9.0 just in time for the tournament that we won.... only grief was when returning the shoes i still got socked for the shipping charges again even though it was an exchange... they could have been a little more lenient especially when I emailed the vendor about the exchange... all in all a great shoe

Very pleased with this shoe. I bought them for my daughter. I read several reviews prior to purchase. We were interested in a lightweight shoe. The shoe is very lightweight. My daughter finds the shoe comfortable and very easy for her to make quick moves. We've had no problems with the sole or the leather. These are a great pair of high performance volleyball shoes.

My daughter usually wears an 8, and these came, and her toes were all the way at the end, and that was without her ankle braces. I've reordered an 8.5 and hope and pray those work. My daughters friend also bought these at a VB tournament, and she also usually wears an 8 but had to purchase an 8.5 because of the small fit. Should have learned from her experience before I ordered them online. In my experience, these run a half size too small.

this was selected as our local high school's "team shoe" this season (August 2010). Looks great and builds on Mizuno's proven Wave and Lightning shoe features...BUT after less than two full weeks, some of the bottom "tread" where you pivot on the ball of your foot is wearing off the shoe!

Never had that problem with Mizuno's before and this is our fourth pair...will keep an eye out and would appreciate others' experiences. FYI ours is black shoe w/ Carolina blue accents, in case the "failure" is specific to a rubber color.

Arrived in good time. Shoes are great. I've been using them for a couple weeks now for volleyball and they are comfortable and provide good traction. They were a little stiff at first, but better once you start working them in.

I ordered Shoes, Mizuno for my daughter for volleyball, the were in an OLD used box and they had been worn many times, scratches, the mizuno logo inside the shoe was almost worn off. A bug chunk out of the soul, probably why they were returned. It was very obvious that they had been really worn hard. When I told them what had happened, the manager was so non careing, like ohh put them in a box and return them. Didnt even try to fix the situation, like send me a different pair. Just said to return them. Then he was supposed to send me a return label for UPS. It took 3 emails from me to them and a week and a half to mail me the label so I could return them.

I would never purchase anything from them again. :{

My daughter plays volleyball year round, and absolutely loves the Wave Lightning 6. We've got them in 2 colors now, for school and her club team, and she says they're her favorite shoes she's ever played in.

The Wave 6 volleyball shoe is a well constructed shoe. It has increased ventilation which is great when playing back to back matches in tournaments. If wearing ankle braces,order a half size up to accommadate the brace. You don't have to worry about sliding around on the court with the soles but you definitely can slide with your body for the ball if you want to go for it! Good looking and great performance shoe! Amazon was very fast in getting me the shoe. I couldn't believe the quick turn around and it was during the Christmas rush!!!
