Shawn Doyle and Lauren Anderson have written a book using the stories of everyday common people. I like this approach. Usually we read about famous people vicariously and gather what we can about improving our own lives. This book is unique, in that the character traits and keys to success are brought out in the lives of everyday people. There are alot of notes highlighted at the end of each chapter. It's great for meditation and discussion.
Read about the people who call the car dealership and will only bring their car in for servicing if their favorite service manager is working that day. Victor Wernay, (A.K.A. Chiliman) tells us : "It was never about hotdogs. It was always about becoming a legend." He acknowledged the people waiting in the back of his line to be served and they gladly waited for someone who was showing an interest in them. Read about the man who once hired Vern Oscarson, and is now working for him. Friendships and respect pay off. Read about Steven Rowell, who dialed CEO's of major companies from his college dorm room and would ask the administrative secretary who answered the phone if he could have just 5 minutes to ask the CEO the secrets to his success. Sometimes he ended up listening for an hour or more. These are just some of the many stories included in this book. Hope you are blessed by these brief nuggets.
Shawn and Lauren have compiled an incredible resource of real-world people who have achieved extraordinary results. I love the recap at the end of each chapter and their recommendations on actions you can take immediately in your own life. I will be giving this book to all my students and my associates. If you want concrete strategies from real people you have to get Mo!.
Mo! is terrific!!! The stories are inspiring and there is a take away from each story. In addition, there are action steps to apply the principles immediately. I would definitely recommend the book for anyone who wants to grow.

Written by Shawn Doyle and Lauren Anderson we are able to see examples of "Everyday Heroes who live with MOmentum, MOtivation and MOxie.
