There's no audio on the video - it's pretty self explanatory. The case is very nice, great bang for the buck. It does have a strong odor - smells like wet Polyurethane. Takes a couple of weeks for the smell to fade. The case is slim, the inside is a soft plush, the outer glossy faux leather. There are two small, round, magnets that hold the cover closed. The Kindle is slid into an opening to hold it in place securely - a lot better than the small elastic bands other cases use. In the video I show how the Kindle slides in and is locked in place.

Followup: 02-09-12 - Love this case. It actually smells like leather now.

I suffer from excessive analysis paralysis and spent too much time researching cases for my new Kindle Touch which I received as a gift. I didn't want to spend $40+ so I focused on the more affordable options. I have only used it for a couple days and am not disappointed. It's just fine and it does the job. Value for money is just right. Yes, it had a very bad odor out of the box, but after 2-3 days it was completely gone. No regrets here, if you are looking for a simple case to do the job, you won't be disappointed. If you are looking for sophistication, elegance, or luxury, obviously you have to spend more.

I've been using this cover for a couple of weeks now and am extremely satisfied.
1) The front cover is very solid and offers great protection. The magnets ensure that the case stays closed and keep the kindle safe.
2) This case is very compact. The use of magnets to hold the case closed instead of a strap / clasp means no extra bulkiness and nothing in your way while reading.
3) When reading the front cover folds flush against the back cover and is very comfortable to hold. This seems like the most important feature of a Kindle cover to me, yet many of them don't seem to do it well.
4) The Kindle feels very secure in the case, yet can the case can be put on or removed easily in seconds.
5) Construction feels very solid. Over the couple of weeks I've used it I notice no signs of wear and tear.
6) Based on the reviews and product descriptions of the dozens of cases available this appeared to fit most closely with what I wanted (the above points), yet it was still one of the cheapest ones available (roughly $10 when I bought it).

Also, for those looking for a lighted case (which I was at first), I purchased a Might Bright UltraThin Book Light (also around $10) and it fits very well between the back of the Kindle and the case and stays securely in position while reading.

There is a small tweak I'd make to the product if given the opportunity. Since the magnets work so well to hold it closed I was thinking it'd be nice to have some on the other side as well to hold it open (front cover against back). However, even without them it is comfortable to hold in the fully open position, so it isn't really an issue.

If you are looking for a minimalist-style cover for your Kindle Touch, this one is pretty much perfect.

I am extremely happy with this case, and I honestly can't think of any aspect of it that I'm not completely satisfied with. My mother bought a case for her Kindle with the light built into it, but she had some trouble with it initially, so I decided to stick with a standard case, and I'm very happy with my choice. The price was more than reasonable, especially considering the quality. It couldn't have been easier to put my Kindle in the case, and the fit is perfect. For the first few weeks that I had my Kindle Touch I didn't have a case for it, and I was always worrying that it would get scratched or damaged. Now with the case I'm much more apt to bring it places, because I know that the screen is protected when I'm not actually using it. I've also noticed that when I'm reading it's more comfortable to hold it with the case on it than it was without one. I love the color! It's more fun than black or brown, but still subtle enough to look classy. The cover of the case folds easily behind the Kindle when I'm reading and the magnets to hold it in place when it's closed work great. The pocket on the inside cover is a nice detail that I haven't used yet, but I can see how it could come in handy at some point.

there is another amazon reviewer here with a video showing marks on his/her kindle around the tab that encloses the kindle with this case. mine looks worse. i've owned my case for nearly two months. the marks this one left on my kindle are purple and brown dots and i can't get them off. i came to check if any reviews mentioned it and found his/her review. actually this review is a small variation of the comment i left there. anyhow, the case is really nice for the price but these dots are strange. i've tried scratching them off with my fingernail but it didn't do anything. they might me stuck on there. the damage is probably only cosmetic so it could be worse. i guess you get what you pay for...

pros:
-it's cheap.
-looks good for the price.
-feels good for the price.
-outside of the marks left by the tab it protects the kindle well enough.
-holds the kindle well and doesn't impede use of the kindle.

cons:
-these dots that i can't get rid of.

anything that mars the unit it's supposed to protect is an instant 1-star. even if it's only cosmetic because this kind of damage is something the case is supposed to protect too.

Overall I'm pleased with this case. I have to agree with many of the other comments that I read before my purchase. The case is thin enough to make it very portable in very little space, yet protected, which is exactly what I wanted. The magnets keep the case closed when not in use. The only complaint I have (and it is minor) is when the case is opened for reading, I would have liked to have a magnet on the back of the case too to keep it more stable when opened. It does function well enough when opened, I just would like it to be more stable and have the cover more secured for switching between hands.

The case is well worth the money paid. I love the color. The color makes it easy to spot when lying around on a table, or mixed in with other items in my computer bag.

I just received this item yesterday and I love it! It has enough padding to give the Kindle a little protection when you're traveling or putting it in a bag/purse, but it's not bulky at all. Also, the case has a magnet to keep the cover closed. Also, you can flip the cover back and hold it like that-which is how I read with it. I think this case makes it more comfortable to read with the Kindle because it makes it more like reading a regular book. The color is perfect for me! The color for the online phone is very close to the actual color-though it looks slightly darker in person. The Kindle fits in there perfectly with access to all of the buttons on the Kindle. Also, the cover is really soft and seems durable. The cover does smell, though I think that will go away after a couple days. Overall, I am incredibly impressed with this item. It's a great color, great price, and great quality.

Got the case but it leaves horrible marks on the kindle after use. You can see that it basically leaves marks where the tab that opens to place the kindle in the case is at.

Convenient, stylish, and keeps my Kindle secure.
This cover provides enough padding to protect my Kindle, but no so much as to make it bulky.
Everything I was looking for.

Edit: March 2012

After about a month of using this cover I started noticing problems with my Kindle. At first the Kindle was slow, taking forever to connect to wifi, later it started resetting itself fro no reason. Finally I had to do a complete reset of my Kindle and stop using this cover. When researching the issue, I was told that the magnets on the cover can cause problem with the operation of the device. I'm not sure if I'm the only one that had this problem. I sent it back, I'm sad because I was happy with my stylish cover.
