Maybe ten people still alive know who Bobby Timmons is, but for you ten here is an excellent single disc compilation of Bobby's best material. "This Here" has to be the deepest groove ever dug. Quite an amazing piano player.

There is an abstract musical idiom used to appraise something's musical qualities. I won't bore you with it. Instead I will just say this: if you like to groove, buy this. It is the definition of soul.
