5.0 out of 5 stars WHEN THE SUPERNATURAL IS THE NORM, June 30, 2009
This review is from: Moaning Bones: African American Ghost Stories (Hardcover)
This is a collection of African-American ghost stories presented for readers ages 7 and up. Appropriately ghostly illustrations are well done by Felicia Marshall.

Intended to tingle spines and elicit shivers the stories are filled with other worldy experiences - a deserted mansion inhabited only by waltzing ghostly dancers, an empty rocking chair that rocks, and rocks, and rocks.

Youngsters who enjoy the intentionally eerie will take to these stories and may well want to repeat some of them around a campfire.
