Headphonies are fun, affordable, ultra-portable 3-inch designer speakers that plug into your mobile device--smartphone, iPod, iPad, or portable MP3 or CD player. Each design has a unique personality and attitude, but they all provide the same full sound. Enjoy Headphonies wherever you go. Collect your favorite characters and trade them with your friends for even more fun. You can also link two Headphonies to your source with the optional audio splitter for fuller playback. Headphonies include a quick-charging lithium-ion battery, (four hours of play time per charge), a USB charger cord, an audio cord, and a clip-tether.

Mobi Headphonies were inspired by urban vinyl figures, a style of designer and collector toy that has recently become very popular (while Headphonies speakers aren't actually vinyl, they share many characteristics of the market and style). The speakers feature a stout, humanoid shape with an oversize head--an aesthetic that is characteristic of urban vinyl. They are also an ideal collector's item: each Headphonies was designed by a different artist, and is only available for a limited time.
The Koko Headphonies has a personality and attitude of its own. It features a stitched gorilla face, a dark brown color, and bright gold headphones.

In spite of their compact size, Headphonies microspeakers have some serious playback capabilities. Each Headphonies has a round speaker grille on the back of its head, concealing the speaker underneath. Using amplified DSP (Digital Signal Processor) circuitry, the loudspeaker provides clear bass and frequency response, pumping out your music in tight detail, without the tinny distortion that usually plagues portable speakers. You also have the option of linking two Headphonies together with an audio splitter (sold separately) to achieve true stereo sound.
At 3 inches tall and weighing only 4 ounces, Headphonies are compact enough to fit into your pocket or handbag. As long as you have an MP3 player or another mobile device, you'll be able to play back your music wherever you go--whether you're on the road, at your desk, or in the company of friends.
The Koko Headphonies is compatible with a variety of mobile gadgets, including iPods, iPhones, Nintendo DS, Sony PSP, and more. It includes a cable for connecting to your device as well as a charging cable for the internal battery. The internal battery can be charged in approximately one hour with a playback time of up to six hours per charge. To save on energy, Headphonies automatically power down when not in use.
The Mobi Koko Headphonies speaker is backed by a 90-day limited warranty.

Great Little Speaker!,

I have been looking for a portable speaker with good sound for a while. Most of the speakers available in the market are bulky and don't have a good look or feel. I looked at the X-Mini II Capsule and decided it just did not have enough character. I have bought some products made by Mobi before and when I noticed on their website that they were making speakers I decided to give it a try. I am very happy with my choice. The sound quality on this unit is excellent despite its small size. There is no sound distortion when you play at high volumes which was a very good surprise. I use this unit all the time with my IPad when I am watching movies and the experience is so much better. I love the characters and will be soon buying the Hello Kitty unit so that I can use the stereo feature. Everyone I play it for is surprised by how good it sounds. Looks like this will be my Christmas present to many of my relatives this year!

My Skully is really cute. I get lots of compliments on him. The sound quality is definately good considering its coming from a tiny unit like this. It charges quickly and holds its charge for about 4 hours just like the item info said. My issue with it is that it cuts out. It has no volume control, your volume comes from the device its connected too and the unit is supposed to automatically shut down if there is no music. I've found that my Skully doesn't seem to think that there is music playing unless my Zune's volume is at 10 or above and will therefore shut down if I turn the volume down. If you're trying to use this product to keep your music portable in a quiet setting this isn't going to work out well, the volume it requires to keep going is a bit loud to be considered background noise or quiet music. But if you just want to tote your music around and don't care who else hears it then it works perfectly.

Well I got my skully a few days ago and everything was perfect until i decided to use it at night.I mainly bought it to replace my other small speaker which i used to just play some music while I'm going to sleep. Well Learned if it's too low, the headphonie will just shut off. Well the first series had an on/off switch, while skully and I'm assuming all model of the second series have the idiotic sensing unit that will turn on when sounds is high but turn off if sound is too low >_<. I suggest waiting for the next series which will hopefully bring an on/off switch or trying to find headphonies series 1.
Well the sound is very clear and it sounds great, i was actually very surprised by the sound, it can get pretty loud. This item would be completely worth it if it wasn't for the automatic on/off sound sensing unit Well if you love blasting your music everywhere and have absolutely no plans of playing your music low then this item is for you. Feb 28, 2010 "The unit had an automatic shut off and will only work at 70% volume." That is the response I got after messaging them. Terrible, a disclaimer should be provided. They don't even mention it in the manual, which i think leads people to believe they have a busted one. 2115|R3QI7Q2NSE9P3Y;2115|RY0LQO7CH47RV;2115|R34WFGASZQHQQT;
