Wing Gundam is 1 of the best models in the Gundam Wing 1/144 scale line! it's fun and easy to asemble. although some of the peices fall off from time to time, with a little glue it is easily the most durable 1/144 scale models. Wing gundam also has a 'bird mode' in which it turns into a fighter plane. this is a great model kit and i strongly recomend it!

this gundam is awesome! it has a big BIG gun, a cool shield, a sword, and can turn into a jet/ bird mode. it is super posable,and is fun to play with. the transformation to jet mode is easy and it looks sooooooo cool like that. this model took me about 30 minutes to make, but was worth it. a definite buy. the only fault is that the head crest keeps falling off, but can be glued on

The first time I saw Gundam Wing I fell in love with the show, and this model kit has furthered my somewhat sick fasination with it. This Model kit is far superior to any other type of model I have worked on. It is increadibly easy to follow the instructions, (even though they are in japinese). It is extreamly durable for a snap-type model, although the pieces sometimes get a little loose. On top of all that it actually transforms into the bird mode! This model dosent have to be painted, but it helps. Comes with buster-rifel and beam sword. I belive any type of building and working with the hands is moderatly educational. Over all, I am very impressed with this model and cant wait to buy the rest of them!

This was my first gundam model, and the one that got me into gundam wing. I was not dissapointed with this execpt the beam saber is gray, not green, so it needs to be painted. Overall this is a graet model.

This is the first of the gundam models I put together, it was the most fun and it was fairly easy. The only bad things are that the feet need paint or marker(i prefer marker) and one peice of the wing holders snapped(very easily fixed with a little model glue). If you buy any gundam models I suggest you buy a regular black sharpie marker and a ultra fine tip black sharpie marker, plus some other colors(blue, green, and maybe red).

With the exception of having to paint certain pieces to be more exact looking...this is a great model and must have for all true fans.

This is the 1/144 scale model of Wing Gundam 01, piloted by Heero Yuy. The kit itself is not that bad colorwise. Like all Bandai models (or almost all of them), they are molded in just about the right colors. This one however can use a little bit of paint. On the side panels; it shows a finished version. As you can see, it has numerous lines of black paint through little crevices in the model. The way to get that effect is by using black paint, or "Gundam Markers [They don't sell them on Toysrus.com, but they are about 5$ retail each]." The model kit's weapons are pretty well done by Bandai. The beam sabre however, can use some green paint on the long end, and the gun can use some black paint on some parts of it. The shield needs some white paint (you can see where on the models' guide manual). Now the downsides: First of all, the eyes. The Gundam's eyes do come with stickers, but since the stickers are so small themselves, it is wise to paint the eyes dark green first, in case you lose the stickers. Also, the legs. The Gundams legs are not very well done. Bandai's first Gundam model was probably this Wing Gundam 1/144 model, so almost every model follows this kit's features, and downsides, meaning that the legs are just not very sturdy, but not too bad. And, now the arms, which have some little crevices and gaps in them. They, can use some modeling putty. Well, basically, this model is pretty well done, if you take the time to do it right. But, I would suggest the 1/100 scale model of Wing Gundam (I have both of them, but the 1/100 is done better and more realistic when done). Deathscythe,Heavyarms,and Shenlong are also good bets in the 1/144 scale family.

Well,.... The kit and instructions are in Japanese, but the pictures are clear enough to easily guide you through the construction of the model. The Japanese version seems to be MUCH more durable than the English, so if you want a model you can actually use and not just look at, buy the Japanese version, not the English.

This looks like an awsome toy but its not. First of all its way to small. the coulours are terrible and its to exspensive. Its not worth 15 to me its worth 5. The head piece always falls off. its better to buy a bigger model.
