I got this for my VX-6100 phone, which is not supported out of the box, despite being displayed on the product header here.

The "put in the CD to install" application does not list the VX-6100, and probably other phones. A Windows XP driver for the VX-6100 is on the CD but you have to dig for it, and the Handset Manager software on the CD still does not recognize it after you install the driver.

The support website has another driver and another version of Handset Manager that you must download. These did not work on the computer I was originally trying to install on. Probably too many installs and uninstalls of the driver and application. Installed on a completely different computer and it worked. Install the driver first. If you get to a menu screen and all the options are greyed out, just exit. Run the (downloaded) Handset Manager and you might/should be ok.

The "manuals" and help on the CD and from the support site are not good. The other PDF install doc is a good attempt but was not helpful for my use.

Your mileage may vary if you have a fully-supported phone, but the phones listed above may not actually be one of them. Expect some installation hassles.

Would have rated higher based on the price, except for the installation bother.
