I purchased this for my Nokia 6230, and the features are really nice. The first piece dint work. When i contacted

mobile action customer care i was informed that this device has to be recognized as a nokia 6230 modem but it

dint. I reported that to amazon and got a replacement within 3 days.

The new piece is working gloriously. But the problem is the device driver which comes along with the

product doest work. Again i contacted the customer care and found that i needed a newer version of driver. Download the driver from
http://ds2.my-mam.com/~mobileactionusa/pure_gsm_driver.zip ,
Open the folder PureCDMADriver click on Install file and follow instructions. You can find the installation guide at
http://ds2.my-mam.com/~mobileactionusa/software_download_guide.doc

The Handset manager that comes with the product too was giving some problem. so i downloaded Handset Manager version 9 from
http://usa.mobileaction.com/download/download1.jsp?phoneBrand=1&modelID=27
then the problem was solved.

I dont know why mobile action is distributing CD's with older version of drivers and softwares. Hope they will

correct that soon.

Just a quick note about myself, I live and work in Baghdad Iraq and purchase most of my toys online. I hardly ever post reviews on products or have even taken the time. I have learned with time that I have become more dependent on reading reviews from concerned customers. These reviews have guided me in the right direction 90% of the time and saved me money. So I felt it was time to give back to our online community.

I purchased the "Mobile Action MA-8630 USB Data Cable and Software for Nokia- 6230 / 7600 / 7610 / 6682/ N70 / N90" a few days ago and it arrived today. A1 Accessories provided blazing fast delivery on their product arriving in Iraq merely days after ordering. I would rate the company as an A+ for delivery and packaging.
The product description states it is for specific products, some of those products it might very well be for. However, it is not for the NOKIA N70 which I currently own. The cable that comes with unit fits fine and interfaces with the computer. The software that accompanies the unit is not for all the brands listed. After attempting to install the software this is a list of phones it actually supports. Motorola V3, Motorola V300/V400, Motorola V505/V551, Motorola V600, NOKIA 6230 & NOKIA 7600 I don't see an N70 or N90 listed.
So bottom line if you're looking for a cable and have the software this is perfect. If you're looking for both like I was and it's not one of the phones listed above then you just got "GOT". Oh and if your thinking that the cable will work without the software think again.
