After spending weeks deciding which case to buy, I think I found the best briefcase in the market! As you probably know, it's very difficult to find a good-looking 17" executive case, but this is the perfect solution!

First of all, I have to accept it is a little heavy. However, I think you should be aware that buying a 17" laptop implies carrying some extra weight with you. If you want a quality case (like this), then you have to accept some extra pounds. The material is excellent and it will certainly last a lifetime.

Regarding the size, I have an HP dv9500 and it fit perfect in the notebook pocket. This pocket is padded with a foam that avoids your laptop to get damaged in case of falling. I don't know if they improve that foam, but I think it will also last a lifetime.

There are a countless number of pockets, compartments and divisions, so you can carry all your accessories, papers, etc. The grip is made of a gel that makes carrying the case a real pleasure.

The only observation I have to make is that you can't remove the cover flap. Although MobileEdge advertise this product in their web page as it could be possible to remove the flap, it really isn't. However, I think it looks much greater with the flap and gives you a little more security.

I give this case a 5-star review without doubts!!

Bought as a Christmas gift last year for my husband and proud to say it still looks brand new even though it is used on a daily basis. Well constructed, durable materials. Husband has said it is the best briefcase he has ever owned. Fits a 17" Dell Laptop like a glove with plenty of room for paperwork.

I should have checked out the weight of this briefcase before purchasing. It's heavier than I expected even without the 7 lb laptop computer I carry in it. It has lots of storage, but when you fill it with papers, etc. it becomes even heavier, of course. Otherwise, it's well constructed and will last a lifetime. The fabric on the outside is very durable and looks good. It has great padding around the computer compartment, which is some kind of foam. This may not last a lifetime.
