I have been searching for a case like this for a long time. I settled for a portable dvd case. It was nice, but didn't really have room for accessories, and I couldn't fit magazines or books/papers in it, and I had to carry two bags with me when I went to teach classes. Then I found this.

It fits my 10" Eee PC nicely. The netbook fits securely when held down with the strap. I wish the sizing was a bit more customizable, and I wish there was a bit more padding in the pc compartment, but it is adequate for my needs. It also will fit magazines and 1 or two smaller text books, perfect for me! The outer pocket looks like it will hold a small folder or papers, also ideal for me. The first inside pocket has two pockets and a pen holder, good for accessories, pens, etc. The outside small pocket is also good for a mouse, or whatever accessories you want quick access to. This pocket also has a ring so you can snake headphones through.

It is smaller than I thought it would be, though that isn't necessarily bad. Very light, yet seems sturdily made. I am liking this case. It is about as perfect for my needs as I think I am going to get. I definitely recommend it for those who want to carry their netbook, accessories, as well as other larger items like magazines, folders, or a small (slim) book or two.

One thing that would make this case better is some flash drive and sd card holders. Better to have them on hand rather than having to dig around in a pocket for them!

I own a netbook and a kindle. I like to carry both of them with me.

This bag has enough room for a small laptop (10" eee pc), my kindle 2, a moleskine and the other misc junk I carry with me. You're not going to get much more than that in the main compartments. The side pockets have ample room for pens, cell phones, etc.

This bag really is small, it you're a pack rat you might have some problems.

I think that this bag is awesome! really very sturdy, and can hold more than was said in previous reviews. I can hold three books, in the main pouch (along with laptop) and sometimes I put another one in the front pouch. I only have a couple little things I don't like about it. 1) The Pencil and Pen holders in the front aren't wide enough, my pens barely fit, but my pencils don't at all, if your pens or pencils have any kind of a rubber grip on them, they won't fit. 2) The small front pocket is pointless, Its too big for small things like flash drives, and too small for big things like books, and there is already a place for a cell phone, and its even too big for that. Otherwise its a great bag, very comfortable, the strap is great, and even the handles are comfortable too.

I don't normally write reviews, but I was very satisfied with this product. It's got lots of places to stash goodies inside. I've got a Lenovo S10-3T netbook, USB hard drive, Samsung portable DVD burner with about 10 blank discs in sleeves, wireless mouse, a pair of Sennheiser HD 238 headphones, USB hub, and all necessary cables/power supply etc. in this thing. But, I was STILL able to get 2 magazines in it. I was also able to cram a hard cover book I bought in the airport in the side pocket on the back. The shoulder strap is soft and comfortable and the carry handles have thick rubber. The cost is about $10-15 more than I wanted to pay, but worth every nickel. It's by far the best laptop bag I've ever had. Highly recommended.

I just bought an ACER ASPIRE TIMELINE 11.6" notebook needed a nice bag to carry it in and ran across this Mobile Edge, was a bit hesitante because the 8.9-13-inch thinking it might be to small. I also always put my notebooks in a neoprene sleeve for extra protection so would need a bit more room. I just got the case a few hours ago and my ACER in the sleeve fits perfect as the partition for the notebook/netbook is also adjustable. The bag seems very well made, very impressed it came with the very nice handles to carry it and also the strap is very well padded and removeable. Has plenty of room to carry my portable DVD/CD player, pens, books, magazines, notebooks, the power cord and an extra battery and still has room for more without over stuffing. Still leaving the second partition barely with anything in it, the front zip drop down storage is about half full and the front pocket has nothing in it yet except the paper that came stuffed in it I haven't removed yet. This case is Awesome, very well made, will handle any netbook and it says 13-inch I have a 13.3 HP that I could fit if I really wanted too, but is perfect with the 11.6-inch inside a neoprene sleeve. The make seems very good, handles are a big plus and not cheesey but very comfortable non-slip rubber ones, great shoulder strap and very well padded with metal clips to remove it if you want too, lifetime warrenty and looks great! Plus I found when searching the pockets 2 Micro Center 4GB Flash drives and a 16GB Corsair Flash Voyager Drive as hidden extra bonuses. The 16GB Corsair Flash Voyager Drive cost almost double what the case cost not adding in the other 2-4GB's also included. Plus I had a $25.00 Promotional Certificate so total cost was only $10.92 including everything...Great Deal!..Great Bag! Thanks Amazon!!!

This bag is the perfect size for my netbook. Additionally, it holds the DVD burner/player w/cords, gps antennae, tv antennae, my android phone w/charger and camera w/cords. I could easily get a magazine or notebook in there as well. To me it has the right amount of pockets and is very light weight.

I am a wedding photographer and videographer. I use my smaller Mac for presentation. This bag can fit three 1 TB external Drives, the power adaptor, a lot of brochures, photobook... it is a perfect abg...

***WARNING! I went to re-order this (June 2011) and I got another model instead. This happened twice. It looks like this model was changed or discontinued but they have not changed specs shown on Amazon. The model of briefcase I got did not have the water bottle net at the side, did not have the back pocket and the zipper went all the way around rather than just to the edges. I use this for a work briefcase rather than a netbook carrier. I found I was carrying a briefcase that was too big and heavy and my back and shoulder were sore. I commute on trains so it was a hassle. I searched under 'small briefcases' but found nothing then I had a eureka moment - I recently purchased a netbook and was thinking of a case - and looked under netbook cases and saw this realized this would be perfect for me as a work briefcase and purchased it. Almost a year later, it is still going strong. My netbook is only for home use and I use this as my office briefcase (netbook stays home) and my back and shoulder are relieved! It is compact but inside space is big enough to fit an Ikea catalog inside before it gets too bulky. The front pocket carries my eyeglass case and closes with a velcor strip. After about a year the velcro strip for the front pocket became less 'sticky' but it still closed fine but I am paranoid on crowded trains so I had the idea to add a button to secure it. The front flap for this pocket has a loop handle and I took it to a seamstress and she sewed in a metal botton that matched the case and that fits into the loop. Case front pocket super secured.

The Mobile Edge briefcase is a sturdy sleek way the carry your prized notebook or small personal computer. Be aware that it won't handle the larger screen devices. It fits an IBM Thinkpad t60 perfectly. The external pocket is roomy, and provides ample space for your power cord or other items (mine carries keys, earbuds, and other off hand items.) The zippered enclosure is spacious providing room for additional items (a sandwich for lunch). It is well constructed with rubber handles, and a non slip rubber padded "stretchable" shoulder strap. I would highly recommend this item for those that need a low profile carry for their small laptop or notebook.

Great bag! Professional and sturdy. If you want a laptop bag and want to add some other gadgets and paper work this is the bag for you. I would definitely by another one!
