I love this bag (I use it mostly for school and classes I teach). It is large enough to hold my 17" dell inspirion, my extra battery and the adapter to plug into the wall. I can also fit my wallet, pens, papers and books in the bag. Even with all of this stuff inside it is still very stylish. I am gettting compliments almost everytime I use it.

This tote is the best. I'm only 5'1" and most bags make me look like I'm moving! This one carries my 17" laptop, power supply, cell phone, glasses, portfolio, note paper, slim tool case and cables, and a few other things without being bulky. The well supported bottom of the case prevents it from falling over or looking sloppy. Hurrah!

This case is the almost perfect. It easily carries my 17" Toshiba Satellite laptop, power supply, portfolio, notepaper, pens and pencils, ipod in a small case as well as cables and a few other things without looking bulky. I like the sleek style, but I wish the outside pockets were deeper and there no place to hold a water bottle. The bottom /sides are well supported to prevent the case from falling over. This bag is a bit LARGE & HEAVY (about five pounds empty), so if you are a frequent flyer who does a lot of fast walking and lacks arm/back strength, you may want to choose something lighter.

I was searching with no success to find a RED LEATHER laptop bag that would accommodate my HP widescreen laptop nodels - dv9700t & dv7t. When that proved unsuccessful, I resorted to just trying to find anything reasonably stylish that would work. As others have mentioned on this and other websites, this bag is LARGE & HEAVY, so if you are a city commuter who does a lot of walking and lacks the arm strength and able back you may want to reconsider. ALSO, some web-sites, NOT AMAZON, advertise the trim as leather - IT ISN'T.

The bag DEFINITELY can fit either of my HP 17" wide screen laptops. To my surprise the laptop spacing was more than ample but without too much padding so I felt more comfortable by also purchsing a neoprene sleeve to insert my laptop into prior to placing it in the Geneva bag.

It was quite a feat to find a computer bag for my new HP Pavilion 17" notebook that had some feminine flare. This bag is fashionable and functionable. I did buy a neoprene sleeve for extra padding and waterproofing. The bag is a tight fit with the computer cord included; thus not allowing for too much extra materials - perhaps a few key files and notepad. I love the look of this bag - conservative, yet feminine.

Finally! A feminine laptop bag that supports a 17.3" screen laptop. I have furiously searched for a feminine bag that fits the 17.3" screen and this is the one. Although there is plenty of room for the laptop, I think there could be more to support additional files and folders. The description states black/beige, but beige is not an accurate description. It is a black/gray bag. Overall, good purchase and pleased that the search for a nice feminine laptop bag is over.

I just got a nice, big, laptop. Obviously, my smaller laptop bag won't work anymore. That bag held everything - the laptop, power supply, mouse, phone, wallet, a magazine, etc. I wanted something that would do the same for this much, much, MUCH larger laptop.

This is the bag. Seriously, it's nice. REALLY nice. Holds my laptop, and not just as an afterthought. The laptop compartment is in the MIDDLE of the bag, not on the outside, and it's well protected. There's room for the power supply, a mouse, your phone, pens, and there's even a separate, removable, pouch that could serve to hold miscellaneous girl stuff (or computer cables). There's zippered compartments, outside compartments, room for lots of goodies.

And it looks nice, has feet so it's stable, has handles that are a good length but not too long, and while it's not the lightest thing in the world, neither was my bag for my old laptop.

If you need a bag to fit a big Dell laptop, this is the bag.

I gave this as a gift to my future sister in-law for her birthday - since she had just bought a brand new 21" laptop. She loves it. She is able to carry all her work, wireless mouse, phone, and any extras in it. She is also able to put the laptop in a Sleeve (also purchased with this) and still put the laptop away in this carry bag. Great item

I looked all over for a tote that would fit my new HP Pavilion laptop with a 17.3 inch screen - and this is it! I wanted something that looked classy & business - not something cheesy. And I wanted something that my laptop would easily go in and out with room for other items. What I was finding were items that said my laptop would fit only to get it and it didn't.

I stumbled on the Mobile Edge website and found this tote and got excited only to find out that they were out of stock. Then I went to Amazon and they had it AND a Mobile Edge sleeve which are both perfect!

This tote is rather large, but then so is my laptop. But it looks very nice and I have gotten a lot of compliments on it. It also has room for my papers and cords and comes with a detachable zippered bag which I used as a wrist clutch type purse!
