Okay, first things first... I want to straighten out some confusion that I had and am sure others have had. There are two models of bag on this page, and all reviews for BOTH models are lumped together. The PINK bag is made for UP TO a 14 inch Laptop. I have a 13.3 inch Sony Viao, it fits perfectly in the included sleeve, with some room for a couple of notebooks or a small textbook, and a bit of room for accessories. A 14 inch Vaio would NOT fit in this bag well, if at all. This is a wonderful bag with a black/pink color scheme, there is NO purple/plum coloring on this bag. The bag is very well padded, I feel like I could drop the thing on concrete with no damage to the computer inside. It is a little excessive. I am planning on removing the included sleeve for use in my regular backpack, which will also make additional space. I LOVE this bag, it is exactly what I had hoped, and exactly what I wanted.

The Green bag is for up to a 15.4 inch laptop...if you don't have a regular 13 inch Macbook, 13 inch Dell, or 13 Inch viao -or smaller- the green one is the one you should get. It does have plum coloring on it.

Okay, it is indeed big, but this bag is fabulous and really well made. I've been looking for one I could love that was stylish and functional, a tall order when it comes to women's laptop bags. I'm tired of the black nylon versions that you see everywhere; why can't function and fashion meet? But on this baby the details are beautiful--from the reinforced straps (I bought it to replace my last one from which the straps tore off) to the flat exterior pocket on the back for airline tickets--and as a writer whose laptop is my baby and my livelihood, the egg carton like padding is really appreciated. And personally, I love the plum-colored velvet accents. It is a durable bag in which I fit my camera and peripherals and has a long adjustable strap that I can put diagonally over my shoulders when I'm traveling. This is the bag I've been looking for for a long, long time.

This bag is MUCH MUCH too big and bulky. Not to mention that it has an ugly purple velvet back that is not shown in the photos!

I am a very frequent customer of amazon.com, and to their great chagrin; I am sure, I hardly ever write a review. However, I am so thoroughly happy with this bag, I needed to write a review. I fell in love with it when I was looking for a laptop bag for my new macbook. The padding is amazing...very high quality...great..great..oh so practical...but of course how this bag grabs you is it's asthetic fun! It so evokes a feeling of 1940s glam..it is just fabulous! It is much bigger than I expected..which I love. It is the size of a pretty standard messenger bag for school etc. I love the front, but the back is unexpected and great too...it is a very dark purple velvet, which is also on the padding on the strap. I love the dice touch too. All and all I am very happy that I went with what I fell in love with rather than the jansport bag I was thinking of as a contender. Yes, the jansport would have been oh so practical, but I wouldn't have gotten to be excited about a laptop bag when I opened up the box :)

Bag well constructed, but a little more bulky than what I expected. Would have liked it in a more scaled down version. Will definitely protect your PC. It will accomodate a 15 inch laptop. Good for carrying extras along as well.

Better than described. A computer bag that can hold some extras and look distinctive. Not the same boring sleeve. Plan to use it as a carry on for my Macbook, papers, during a trip this summer.

Whoo, boy, I should have listened to the reviewers who said this bag was too big. My first clue should have been the size of the box it arrived in, but when I pulled it out and tried it on, it was ridiculous. Believe me, I'm all about the fun (the bag art was what cinched it for me), but this was like carrying a billboard around your neck for some camp (pun intended) for wanna-be female impersonators. Bless Amazon and its generous return policies -- they even paid for the return shipping of the item via USPS, which, based on the size of the box, easily could have been $15-20.

I like the bag, the only drawback is that it needs a pocket big enough to take a full size adapter. The pocket is too shallow.

I love this bag. It's big, which makes it ideal for my needs. My Dell laptop fits in it perfectly, and it's held securely in place by the little box shaped, padded holder they include inside. I use it to get my laptop to and from school, and with the size of the bag I can carry ALL my books, notebooks, pens etc and even my wallet, cell phone and little makeup bag. This eliminates my previous problem with a much smaller bag. I was carrying the bag, a backpack AND my purse. With this I only carry one bag. It's adorable on top of it. Form and function.

I love this bag! I have a 15 inch Mac Book Pro. It was exactly what I was looking for. Well made, beautiful cover, plenty of room for everything you could want to carry with your laptop. The only thing I would add is little footie stands on the bottom to keep it above the wet ground when setting down. Other than that...perfect!
