Fits my HP dv9000 perfectly, March 10, 2008
This review is from: Mobile Edge Me-awbc Alienware Briefcase (Personal Computers)
... Well actually it is the HP dv9500t, but they are all the same size. I love this case. This is my first laptop case. I've had it for 4 months now and I should have bought it sooner. My computer has a 17 inch screen so its dimensions are pretty big. Therefore, I did my research and made sure this case would be big enough. It paid off.
NOTE: When researching laptop cases make sure you check the maximum dimensions the case can handle and compare those with the dimensions of what you plan on putting in it. I say this because just because you have a 17 inch laptop that doesn't mean all 17 inch cases will do the job. Laptops can vary in outer size even if their screens are the same size.
It has 3 major pockets: One big pocket in the middle that can hold laptop and important documents, a second pocket that can carry cds cables and other notebook accessories, and a third pocket that can hold paper, folders, or small books. The middle pocket can have its zippers locked together (if you have a lock) to protect its contents. There are many other pockets inside of the three large pockets and outside of the briefcase. All of these pockets can be used very conveniently if you want to. For instance, there is a pencil holder, a cell phone holder, and a cup holder (seriously).
All of the zippers are very heavy duty and have the alienware head on them. The case itself is very sturdy and holds its shape very easily. The material used is thick, especially around the middle pocket.
This case is a must buy if you are me 4 months ago. It is also something to consider if you are you right now. Just think about it!!!
