I travel extensively as a business professional, however, I am also extremely fashion-conscious. I did extensive research on a laptop bag prior to my purchase. My main criteria for my laptop bag included: (1) A protective case for my laptop that could be removed easily from the bag at airport security without the contents of the bag collapsing into the interior. (2) An attractive bag that appeared to be a larger handbag versus a laptop case. (3) A bag that could contain a few files and personal items in an organized manner. After reviewing many bags online and in stores, I decided on this bag. I feel that I have made the best decision as this bag meets every one of my requirements and exceeds my expectations. I was afraid that the faux-crocodile exterior would appear cheap, however, it is finished well and does not appear inexpensive. I love the metal spikes at the bottom of the bag that protect the bag when it is set down. The bag is large enough to fit my 15.1" laptop, but does not appear cumbersome to carry. The handles are long enough to carry over the shoulder (even over a bulky jacket) but short enough to carry in my hand as a petite woman (I'm 5'2"). I could not think of any negative aspects of the bag except for the fact that there are no exterior pockets (even a small one for a cell phone or passport). I think this decision only adds to the exterior quality of the bag. I would highly recommend this bag to anyone whose criteria is comparable to mine!!

I got this case with my first laptop a few years ago. It is indeed a beautiful and sturdy case. HOWEVER, if you plan on moving around a lot while carrying your laptop or have any items you plan on putting in there that are lighter in color this case is a very impractical buy. Not only is it an extremely heavy bag, it is also quite bulky and the handles are not flexible at all. After walking 3 or 4 blocks, the handles start cutting into my shoulder, and despite switching shoulders while I walk from my car to the office, I'm constantly sore because the bag is so heavy. The red interior also rubs off and dies everything red (my poor white macbook power cords, etc all have red stains on them).

I travel quite a bit, and have efficient packing down to a science, but no matter how lightly I pack, this case has become the bane of my traveling experience.

So unless your laptop and all of its accessories are black, and you don't plan on actually carrying this case around too much, I would strongly advise against it and look into something of more flexible material less weight.

This bag is beautiful. It is sturdy and very professional looking, and the croc pattern of the bag makes it stylish. Another plus is it has metal feet to protect the bottom of the bag. I highly recommend this item, even if you do not have a laptop computer. This bag would serve you well if all you ever did was use it as a professional tote for work.

I had been looking for a bag for my laptop for awhile. Most of them were too expensive for me. This one has a great price and looks very professional. I've had a lot of people compliment me on my cute bag since I started carrying it. It's perfect for taking my laptop back and forth from home to work every day. It is not too big, but has plenty of room for some papers and office supplies that I need to take with me. I highly recommend this bag!

5.0 out of 5 stars Seriously worth the money!!, February 28, 2007

I was a little worried about spending almost 70$ on this bag, but when I recieved it I was so impressed. I really love this bag! Very well made!! The crocadile pattern is a lot more prominent than the picture shows, but I really like it. To be honest I shy away from croc patterns, but it really works with this bag! I have a 15.4 in. Gateway laptop and it fit perfectly in this bag.

4.0 out of 5 stars I love this bag!, January 15, 2008

Ok, so bear in mind I have only been using it for a week (I will update if necessary later on). I have been searching for a bag or backpack to use for school - I always take my laptop, power brick, a couple books, notebook, day planner, umbrella, plus the usual wallet, cell phone, pens, and girl products. Needless to say, I need a lot of space, but not a huge bag that is a pain to carry around. This bag does the trick! I can fit all of the above in there (easily! just need to be creative with how you arrange it), and it doesn't get too heavy. Everything is easily accessible too. I would remind people to switch shoulders each time you pick it up, so as not to cause any future problems. I do wish there was room for a water bottle (but I don't know how they would fit that in, and it isn't hard to carry around by hand), and maybe a zipper on the outside, but those are minor complaints.

All in all, a great purchase for a student or a professional!

I bought this for a friend who is a real estate agent. It was a birthday present. It was a larger than I expected. I have to say she loved her present and I liked it so much I'm thinking of buying one for myself.

4.0 out of 5 stars Very sophisticated looking, March 13, 2007

I love how this bag looks, it's the perfect bag for a professional. I work and go to school, so it's not a everyday bag for me because of its limited space. I can just get in my day minder, a notebook, laptop and the charger. and it does get a little heavy for my shoulders. But other then that its an awesome bag

This bag is absolutely perfect! I bought it for my 15.4" Toshiba, worried it might not fit. The computer just BARELY fits, which is good, because I'd hate to carry a bag any bigger. It's got many pockets for pens, cell phone, makeup, etc. I love the sueded red lining. I showed it to friends and colleauges the day it arrived, and everyone raved. It's seriously the best deal(bought it here for $55) I was able to find after several days (hours on end) searching the net for the perfect fashionable laptop bag!

4.0 out of 5 stars Great bag, but a little misleading, October 30, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Mobile Edge Milano Laptop Handbag, Small (Black) (Personal Computers)
I chose this bag based on the appearance, product details and customer reviews. I was looking for a bag that was stylish, one that would carry my laptop as well as other "travel" items, and wouldn't look like a traditional, bulky laptop bag. Upon receiving the bag, it looked great! Although not leather, it does not look cheap and the faux croc design gives it added style. I love all the compartments and extra space for the things I need while traveling. In fact, it has replaced my purse as my one carry-on item. I can fit my laptop, reading materials (book, magazines, file folders), wallet, cell phone, lipstick, pens, etc. I especially like the metal "feet" at the bottom of the bag which protects it from scratches and overall wear and tear. It has perfectly matched my needs.

The only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is that although the product details indicate that it will fit a laptop up to 15.4" in width, my laptop is only 14.75" and does NOT fit in the laptop compartment (the compartment is too small). I am able to fit it in the bag, but it doesn't provide the padding and protection that the laptop compartment provides. I feel as though the advertising is misleading. Thankfully, I can make it work and I will continue to use the bag because I like it enough and it serves the purpose. If you have the same issue and can be creative in how you use the space, you'll love this bag!
