My briefcase style laptop case with a shoulder strap had seen better days and it was time for a new bag. Usually, I like to go to a local store to make a purchase like this so I can check it out in person, but Amazon had a few good photos of the bag to check out and the price was definitely right. Plus, if I really didn't like the bag, I could always return it.

No need to return this one though. I love this bag. It's comfortable to carry around, has plenty of room for the things I need to carry around and it's well made. I especially appreciate that I can remove my laptop without opening the whole flap of the bag. It's even got a small zippered pouch for my mp3/satellite radio! And the color of the "Dr. Pepper" model is great too.

This is the only bag I could find that was more of a backpack style, but with a shoulder strap which was exactly what I was looking for. If that's what you're after too, you can't go wrong with this bag.

This is a very nice bag for your laptop. It has lots of room and nice little pockets for anything you would want to carry along with you. I love the color too. This is a much neater looking bag than the ones you carry like a briefcase. The quality of the materials is outstanding. It is a very well made, sturdy bag.

I bought this bag about week ago, and i already love it!
Its much better than I first think! There is lot of space for laptop/notebook (my own is hp 14,1") and it fit very well!
Color was charcoal and I like that color. Its look much better in real than pics.
Bag feel good and its very nice carry! material feel very high quality. I already test, there is so much space that i can take my laptop, and change clothes for weekened + ipod + water bottle + phone (its not smallest one) and notebook stuff. I didnt had even any problems get them fit!

Summary:
This product looks cool, feel good, there is lot of space and this is good quality product!
And price? - its not cheapest bag but its VERY cheap if you compare price and quality!

I purchased this bag for a MacBook Pro 15". My computer fits in this bag, even when it's in a sleeve. There's plenty of padding to protect the computer. The strap is wide and padded. There's more than enough room for notebooks, folders, ipods, phones or other accessories you carry with you. The water bottle holder on the side is a nice extra. This is my second Mobile Edge bag and I'm very impressed with the quality and design of their products.

this thing is great! the design is a hybrid-half backpack-half courier bag-it's informal but fun also mature, i get tons of people who ask where i got it and how much it cost. it's a great shoulder bag with a lot of room for the accessories and my camera, but doesn't seem that big on the outside. Dr Pepper is an awesome color!

this is the best laptop bag ever it has room for all my stuff and the laptop. and I can keep it all organized. best part is it is comfortable to cary.

This is a very well thought out bag with plenty of compartments and pockets. I have used it every day since getting it and have taken it on several trips. The front of the bag has 2 zippers that allows you to flip open the compartment and access two velcro pockets and another zippered pockets which is great for keeping you passport, ID, wallet or cash. It also has several well placed loops to hold pens or highlighters. The top compartment that stores your computer has a divider that acts like a cushion for your laptop and has a velcro strap that keeps your computer secure in the bag. I think I could fit two computers in this bag one on each side of the divider in the main compartment or a binder full of documents.

I like the look and material of this bag, nice padded shoulder strap and a well constructed handle on top of the bag makes it easy to carry. I have no complaints about the bag, great size and it was exactly what I was looking for.

I was researching messenger type bags for a while before I decided on this model. I liked the idea of it being vertical with just enough pockets/compartments to keep things organised but with areas to just throw things in as well.
I like the mesh pockets so that I can see what I have, I do not know what I will use the very front one for though. The front zip down compartment is not as roomy as I had hoped (slightly expandable would have been nice) but at least I can fit my lunch in there :o)
The main compartment is a great fit for my notebook PC and one textbook with space around the edges for other stuff, I haven't tried my thickest textbook yet though.
I see what people mean about the bottle holder, it does hold store bought bottles of water but it does not hold refillable water bottles (like the ones you fit on your bike or put in your fanny pack). It would have made sense to make it large enough for the water bottles and let it be pulled tighter for anything smaller. So i have to make do with refilling a smaller bottle and putting my preferred bottle in storage :o(
I use the cellphone pocket for sunglasses and bus schedules, I owuld never hear my phone ring in there 9especialy when listening to my mp3s.
Oh and the mp3 player pocket is just slightly too small for my player, so I just have to leave it unzipped and not use the sound port.
I am not sure what to use the rear pocket for yet, it is too narrow for magazines or other letter sized reading material.
Strap is comfortable, construction is solid, like the zipper pullers (nice touch), low price for such a bag.

Now I can carry my stuff to work and then college with relative comfort.
I would buy Mobile Edge again.

I love this bag. I bought mine just over 2+ years ago and still use it daily. It's gone EVERYWHERE I've gone. It's held up better than any laptop bag I've ever used. There's plenty of storage on the outside and inside of the bag. I also think the included shoulder strap is one of the better shoulder straps I've ever gotten with ANY bag. If I had any one complaint it would be that the fabric at the end of the shoulder strap got twisted around almost immediately, and can be annoying. However, the fabric has never ripped or torn. This is a high quality bag. I'm not going to retire this bag, but I'm going to go ahead and purchase the mini version of the bag, also available on Amazon.

There are lots of pockets to organize everything: cords, flash drives, pens, markers, paper, snacks; and outside bottle holder, a top zippered pocket and a side phone pocket. It has a short handle on top and a long one. A very good-looking bag. I love it!
