4.0 out of 5 stars Shipping container book par excellence
I like all the color pics and illustrated designs that are going in all over the world. I use containers at Lake Tree Farm, on all my farms and job sites and this book gave me a world of new ideas to try. Fire up my plasma cutter and carve me a new building. (I'm typing this sitting in a toasty warm office container on a 10 deg. day). I'd like to have seen this book cover...

A little anemic, but some solid ideas are represented here. I would have liked a little coherency in the presentation, and a lot more depth.

(I'm typing this sitting in a toasty warm office container on a 10 deg. day). I'd like to have seen this book cover more construction methods and guess I'll have to write my own. Hat's off to the authors.

A paean to inflatables, tensile canopies, demountable stages, and trailers, by an innovative LA architect and teacher who believes that "Anything you can't fold up and take with you is a blight on the environment and an insult to one's liberty." (Michael Webb is the book reviewer for LA Architect magazine.)

You get the comprahensive overview of the subject. The book is quite small so don't expect too much. But it is a good buy for home library.
