Turning Point,
This review is from: Mobile Suit Gundam Seed - Momentary Silence (Vol. 6) (DVD)
The title of Phase 29 is quite apt, as the final two episodes on this disc mark a major turning point in the series, and their dramatic events more than make up for the disappointing recap episode at the beginning of the disk.
While the Archangel has taken temporary refuse in neutral Orb, and Cagalli's father Lord Uzumi Athha announces that the ship has left Orb territory, Athrun knows better, and infiltrates Orb's military base in an attempt to locate the Earth Alliance ship, leading to his first face to face meeting with Kira since their arrival on Earth. Once the Archangel leaves Orb territory, the battle with the stolen Gundams is renewed. But this time, not all of the young soldiers will leave the battlefield alive.

Great Episodes,

Normally, a clip-based episode like episode 26 would knock a star or two off a DVD, but not in this case. Episodes 29 and 30 are two of the best episodes yet and are full of action, drama, suspense, and suprise. I highly recommend this DVD just for those two episodes alone if nothing else.

The Volume Based on Emotions,
By
This review is from: Mobile Suit Gundam Seed - Momentary Silence (Vol. 6) (DVD)
This volume of the Gundam Seed set is really somewhat boring in the first episode, but don't be fooled because the tension quickly rises between the Earth and ZAFT forces. Episodes 27 and 28 build up to the fight in episodes 29 and 30. The last two episodes of this volume are quite possibly two of the most emotional episodes I have ever seen in any anime series. All of the young pilots go into battle again and the onslaught of emotions causes the loss of several main characters. This volume really shows the down-side of war and is a masterpiece in capturing the hearts of the audience.

Two Thumbs up!,
This review is from: Mobile Suit Gundam Seed - Momentary Silence (Vol. 6) (DVD)
This is where the whole series changes direction.Through pain and a final fight, Athrun and Kira end their feud and start anew. This is must see! This is the volume where all is explained, don't miss it! I also recommend buying 1-5 first.

My review of (vol 6) momentary silence,

This review is from: Mobile Suit Gundam Seed - Momentary Silence (Vol. 6) (DVD)
Volume 6 has alot of review episodes to catch the viewer up on current gundam events and help explain a few grey areas that the first 5 volumes didn't cover as well. All and all it is the transition point in the story setting up for the climatic events. This is a must have if you want to keep with the story.
The real dramatics happen towards the end of volume 6 where Athrum and Kira face off in a climatic battle to the finish escalated due to the deaths of their friends from each others hand.

Even a clip show deserves credit....,

This review is from: Mobile Suit Gundam Seed - Momentary Silence (Vol. 6) (DVD)
This dvd features one of the greatest fights in the series (personal favorite)but you only get 4 episodes because the first one is just a clip show but let me tell ya even the clip show is awsome, sure its a recap of all that we all well know but what makes it great for me has to be the music played out trough the whole episode and dvd. It's really a great series and even a clip show deserves credit...^_^

Mobile Suit Gundam Seed Vol. 6,

This review is from: Mobile Suit Gundam Seed - Momentary Silence (Vol. 6) (DVD)
DVD Numero Six. The series is in full swing. Nothing particularly interesting but do please note that episode Episode 26 is just a clip show, just a recap (They probably ran out of Ideas) so they decided also to run T.M. Revolution lead singer Takanori Nishikawa's newest music into the ground, so that will be several points against the DVD, since you really only get 4 episodes. The episodes included are as follows:
Phase 26: Moment (The clip show) Phase 27: Endless Rondo Phase 28: Kira Phase 29: Turning Point Phase 30: Flashing Blades Hence, If you've read my previous reviews, you know who I reccomend this to: Sci Fi, Anime or Gundam fans, but this DVD may not REALLY be worth your money, since you only get 4 episodes, but hey, they have some " TV historical" value.. |
