Alex Shneyderman is a well know author, evangelist and practitioner in the field of mobile communications, enterprise mobility and M2M.
Some of the Alex's contributions to mobile technology advancement include creation and launch of SpringTide 7000 Wireless IP Switch representing a new class of wireless data platforms while at Springtide networks (later acquired by Alcatel-Lucent), formulation of IMS-based Fixed-Mobile Convergence and presence solutions for Dynamicsoft (later acquired by Cisco Systems) and managing IMS and VoIP technology trials for Verizon while at Motorola.
During his career Alex has authored a number of articles and papers in academic publications and trend press, presented and conducted tutorials at the international conferences and authored 2 books on special topics in telecommunications: Mobile VPN, Wiley (2005) and Fixed Mobile Convergence, MsGraw Hill (2008).
Currently at Motorola Alex has taken a key role in positioning advanced mobile technology solutions with service providers and enterprise customers worldwide. Alex is also providing consulting services in special areas of telecommunications and mobile computing such as Fixed Mobile Convergence, M2M technologies, alternative energy and enterprise mobility infrastructure.
