Plug Guard 7-Way is a Good Thing
I have two trailers with 7-pin connectors. I have Plug Guards on both. This is a very inexpensive way to keep your connections clean and out of the way. Good piece of gear!

7 WAY BARGMAN PLUG GAURD
The product is well designed, but poorly executed. the plastic it is made from is much too brittle to withstand the intended use of the item. A 3/4 inch diameter cable puts a lot of pressure against the edges of an item like this. A more robust plastic would have made this a valuable addition to my trailer. As it is, I am going to have to go to a lot of extra effort to...

We're about to buy a new camper, and this will be one of the first things we add to it. We've been using the Plug Guard on our current camper for 3 years with no problems. Not sure why the other post is concerned about the quality of the plastic, but we've never had a problem with cracking or breaking. Such a handy little thing - keeps the plug neat and clean!
