Anti-Flag's style and message have come a long way... none of the new tracks on Mobilize sound alike, yet all are excellent in their own ways: "N.B.C." uses angry and heated vocals to show the band's contempt for global injustice while "Anatomy of Your Enemy" makes use of cold and apathetic speech to demonstrate the impassionate and unfeeling attitude governments have towards starting wars. Their lyrics no longer simply call attention to the problems of the world, but move further and inspire listeners to take action. Each song exposes the disgusting problems with our society and government, and could not be more welcome in times like these.

So far, I've only talked about the first half of the CD. The second half contains recordings of old Anti-Flag classics done at live shows. The band has improved some parts and changed a few things, but the spirits of the songs remain true, and sound amazing, especially with the crowd singing along in choruses, contrubuting to the sense of unity.

In short, this CD is a great addition to anyone who likes punk, or any kind of rock or political music for that matter; though certainly unique from previous Anti-Flag CDs, it stays true to their spirit: providing entertainment on one hand, but raising awareness and spreading the truth at the same time.

This is my favorite Anti-flag Cd. Released at the time of the September 11th attacks, Anti-flag made this cd a timely plea for peace, and an attempt to make sense in this violent world gone mad. The first half of this cd is all new songs, and the second half is a live set from one of thier shows in Pittsburg.
This cd is simply amazing. For the price of 13 dollars, you get a new anti-flag cd, a live cd, and a sampler cd with songs from all the bands on AF records. BUY THIS!!!
