We came to see the mOBSCENE!,

I don't know what a couple of people are complaining about...this is a really awesome track. I also enjoyed Paranoiac, although I can't really decide which one I like better.I have already listened to the new album and Manson is really loud, snotty, and mean-sounding, and composed the album with the musical genius he has always shown - all the things that have always made him great. Manson says he has come full circle musically with this CD, and its true. It has elements from all his past albums but is fresh enough to not sound old. I personally think Golden Age of Grotesque is his best work to date. My personal favorites are Vodevil in which he screams "this isn't music..and we're not a band". (S)aint is also awesome and so is The Bright Young Things. I've already reserved my copy of the CD and I can't wait!

A cheerleader's worse nightmare, being in a Manson song! This single has to be one of Manson's most promising works. The sound is flawless, he has never sounded better, and the songs are definitely not over/under produced. The lyrics remain true to Manson's style but the sound is different, in a very good way. If this is just a tasty morsel of Manson's new album, I feel that we all will be very happy with the full-length. The video to this song is pretty cool too if you get the chance to see it. I tried forever to hear this song on the radio or find a clip on the net, but to no avail. I finally saw the single at a local record store so I scoffed it up. It is worth the whole 4 bucks I paid for it. Definitely one song I will be singing along with for a while, well, until the May 13th when The Golden Age of the Grotesque is released to a very ravenous audience.

Good songs that wet the palette for the new album,

Mobscene is an amazing song, both lyrically and musically. And if you close your eyes and MAYBE squint a little, you can see the cabaret girls dancing, the absinthe bottles lying around, and the dancing. Paranoiac is a completely different style then his previous works, and really makes me curious as to what the remainder of the album will sound like. It very much resembles a slow MDFMK song, which makes sense seeing as how Tim Skold is their new bassist and helped produce the majority of the album. I came to see the mobscene, and I wasn't dissapointed.
