Be comfortable, the design of Moby Wrap for it uses your entire back, as well as your shoulders, to carry the weight of your baby. Unlike other carriers, which have narrow straps or go across one shoulder, the Moby Wrap is a wide piece of fabric that is wrapped over both shoulders. It is amazingly comfortable and easy to wear. There are no buckles, snaps or other fasteners. It is easy to adjust the fit of your Moby Wrap by varying how tightly you wrap yourself and your baby. Be secure, the Moby Wrap comes with an easy to follow instructional guide, with the single stretch cotton and the width of the Moby Wrap, your baby is wrapped close and tight, insuring a secure hold. Your baby's head can also be secured under the stretchy cotton fabric for added safety. Be uniquely close to your baby, there is not a lot of extra material or bulky padding between you and your baby. I love the organic, knowing it is all natural in the material. I also love the hold, very natural and close fitting... baby instantly falls asleep. I keep the wrap on while I'm driving around, and just put baby in once we get to destination. You get faster and faster the more you do it... definitely my favorite sling/holder.

It took a few tries to figure out, but with a few youtube videos I quickly got the hang of the Moby. I loved it for skin-to-skin time with my newborn around the house. It felt supportive for both of us and my baby seemed to love it. He fell asleep instantly. The problem was that he overheated very quickly if he had many clothes on. The fabric is thick and soft and a little too warm for my baby. In the winter months, I would dress him in a simple cotton body suit, put him in the wrap, and button my maternity coat over him. This was fine until we stepped inside somewhere, where he would start to get hot and upset very quickly. It was also complicated to transfer him from Moby to carseat, because I couldn't dress him warmly enough for the carseat and put him in the Moby. My comfort and closeness ratings would be 5 stars. I had to take off two stars, though, because I only got a couple of months out of my Moby. From late spring on, it's too hot for my baby.
