This one wraps it up. Not the best of the 3 in the series, but a finish that allows you to get back to work. Fastest read of the 3. Iif you have not read this full series yet, you need to. MUCH BETTER THAN THE MOVIE...very addicting once you get past the first 20 pages of setup. Very addicting...after you read the first book you are thirsty for the last two. just buy all 3...save yourself the agony.

This series is as prefect as it get! I can not believe how many people gave this book a bad rating, just because they wanted a Disney, happily ever after ending. I think the ending is perfect, unpredictable, and Katiness is very in character. I glad Ms Collins did not chesse it up at the end, this is not the tone to Katiness and Peeta's relationship. My favorite book of 2010. "Not Real or Real?" "Real".

I bought only because the first two 'books had no real ending so you had to keep going. The first was okay but the second was terrible as well from a writing quality standpoint. It was not just rudimentary or young. It was awful. The end was a lame attempt at trying not to sell out but selling out in the epilogue. Just terrible!

Thoroughly enjoyable--of course, by the third book you feel as though you're intimately acquainted with all the characters and you really feel it when anything happens to them (good or bad), which is clearly what you want as a reader and what Collins wants no doubt as the writer. I would recommend this, and have been recommending this, to everyone! The only bad thing is that there isn't a fourth book.

I absolutely love this book. It is the third book to the Hunger Games series and definitely the most action packed. I flew through this book in 2 days not wanting to put it down. To read this you need to have read the first 2 books-Hunger Games and Catching Fire. It is for teens and adults and NOT for children. I love this book so much and I recommend it to any that wants to read it. You will love it!!!

This last book kept me on my toes! Kept pushing me here and there. Wondering why this and that happened and kept me begging for that one little hint of will it ever happen... Will the pain ever stop.... It kept me reading into the wee hours of the night just to find some sort of peace. I felt in this book as with the other two that i was a part of their lives. This book I will enjoy over and over again!

I thought this series was the best of what I have read this year. However, I was coerced into reading it by my dark sci fi loving sister. While this is a richly imagined world with fully flesh ed out characters who are driven by a rapidly moving plot, I could have lived the rest of my life without some of the violent images which will now be forever implanted in my brain. Can't wait for the movie.

I actually enjoyed this last book in the series. I think it brought a decent closure. For everybody that hated the ending, if it's so bad and you think you can do better, you write a book that holds people's attention for extended periods of time. Seems that the ending is usually the hardest part of any story, to nail down to everybody's satisfaction. Myself, I loved this series from beginning to end.

Although this book is aimed at a teen audience, I loved this book. It was one of those books you can not put down - a one sit read, I call them. The charcters were true to the persona the author created and the plot took one turn after another, making it something that was both entertaining and unpredictable.A good read for book lovers of any age.Mockingjay (The Hunger Games, Book 3)

I really enjoyed The Hunger Games books one and two... could not wait to read book three. Now I almost wish I had stopped at the second book. Book three totally fizzled and left me with a bad taste in my mouth. Very dissapointed. Would have gave just one star but gave an extra for the fact I enjoyed the first two books so much.
