When is the TV series The Mod Squad going to be released on DVD? The Mod Squad is a great show for hippie nostalgia although I regard the hippies as being pre-history, before my time. This is the first of the Mod Squad book tie-ins. The story involves a California cult which is abducting runaways for use in Satanic sex orgies. Pete, Julie, and Linc infiltrate the cult which is based on Greek mythology. There are many cultural references to the hippie scene in the late 1960s.
