I bought this as a gift. It comes in a fabric bag in a complimentary fabric, which was a nice little bonus that I hadn't expected. Someone with sewing skills could easily turn the bag into 4 coordinating napkins. The fabric is a nice, soft, thicker cotton and the printing is well done. This shouldn't fade too much in washing or with regular use. And it generated a fair amount of conversation at dinner, with people figuring which states they had been to or wanted to visit or quizzing each other on state capitals. For the price, it's a well made tablecloth.

Whether you love the vintage-look, or have children (or grandchildren) who would be kept busy looking at the map of the United States, this is a purely fun tablecloth that will make you smile. With moderate care (no heavy-duty or frequent washing) you should be able to enjoy this tablecloth for years to come. Hint for those with "young-uns" and grape juice: Consider putting a clear plastic cloth OVER the cloth one to preserve the tablecloth from permanent staining.)
