A must have for anyone who owns a model/RC Turbine Engine. I own a Wren 70 - this book is marvelous at explaining this little marvel turbojet engine.

5.0 out of 5 stars Model Jet Engines, October 29, 2011
This review is from: Model Jet Engines (Modeller's World) (Paperback)
I have been flying radio controled airplanes on and off since I was 20 years old and I am now 71. A friend asked me if I would like to go to Winimac, Indiana and watch them fly real jet model airplanes and I said yes, needless to say I was amazed at the speed they flew. Those planes really peaked my interest and when I got home I looked at Amazon.com for a book on turbo jets and found this one then purchased it. I am a retired tool and die maker and auther of engine articals and two books now out of print. I believe this book has enough information in it so that I could build one of these engines.
Two comments to any person who would try to build one of these engines: First when prehardened steel is machined never us oil, only use water and slow speed, and second when machining aluminum use water and some dish soap.
