Cutting out pieces and scoring fold lines are an easily learned skill with patience. Model then assembles with Elmer's school glue with crisp well fitting lines. Usborne models always fit well together if cut well and lines scored neatly. They make excellent dioramas for Library, Classroom, or satisfy the child or adult who is interested in creating the building or scene that they have(or are) reading about.
I have donated some of the models that I have assembled to high school art departments, Public Libraries, and Regional Museums.

My son and I put this together with a glue gun, and although it took about 6 hours, it was a lot of fun and educational!

I ordered this product for my 12 year old son to put together for his 6th grade curriculum fair project. It took the two of us more than 4 hours to cut out and assemble it. The directions were very accurate and the whole thing turned out great but it was very tedious cutting and gluing for a boy.
