I LOVED this book! Instead of just another "program", it was a daily journal where you focused on one aspect of your thinking or behavior around alcohol and tried to improve it so you'd drink less. Best of all, it was divided into before you drink, while you drink and after you drink moderate drinking tips. If I was going to a party, before I went I read a couple of "before you drink" tips, I tried to observe the "while you drink" tips when I was drinking and the day after, I read up on the "after you drink" tips. A unique and effective way to control my drinking!

It not only helped me to reduce my alcohol consumption, I gained a lot of valuable insight about what makes me tick from this book. It helped me uncover the real reasons behind my drinking and how to deal with them in healthy ways, instead of drinking, and it encouraged a healthy, balanced lifestyle in general. This book looked at the big picture and was a breath of fresh air compared to other programs. Get it!

I found this very helpful,I think it works best with the assistance of an addition therapist. It takes alot of will and support and won't work for everyone
