bryan litz has done a fine job in this third book on ballistics, it's easier to understand what happens after you pull the trigger.

Dear sir..
Read the book before you post a review or at least find someone to read it to you.

Can't wait for your edition of 'The Pope of All things Rifle' to come out. Save me a hardcover.

wow, book published in jan 2014 & no comments. sad hype is over for mr litz.

if this book answers the question when faster twist & short barrels[20-22 inch w/o suppressors] works on VLD bullets[secant or tangive] for long range shooting for each caliber 7mm rem mag or 6.5x55 and what are the seating depth measurements[i know it's not possible but state what length worked] & what is the throat angles as well for each caliber, then i may get this book. but i doubt that he did that kind of research.

update 10/14

at berger website, litz has updated twist calculation. Now I put in 308 w/ 1:7.8 twist is very stable for vld bullets.
It contradicts miller twist formula where 1:11 twist is appropriate. a lot of gunsmiths dont recommend 308 twist above 10 twist[see J krieger website] due to miller.

Others using VLD has been using faster twist using bartlien/broughton barrels.

SO is this diff in twist rates in the book???
