This book takes you on a raw one-of-kind look at modern Africa. I had little knowladge of the topic before reading this book, but this book took me step-by step through Africa's difficulties. This is a must read for anyone looking to expand their knowladge on world events.

This is essential reading for all Africanists. Davidson traces the history of the continent as well as anyone before or since. However, I can see why non-Africanists may not find this book interesting or useful.

Book order gone wrong,

Although i did get the book on time, it as not until i opened it that i saw there was something wrong.There was many pages missing. The book started with 1 but 2 and 3 were blank( no text at all on them) then 3 and 4 were fine but 5 and 6 were blank. This continued for several pages.
