Dated Informative and Fun
This work is quite dated by now, but still has lots of good pictures and basic information.

Good Book
Modern Air Combat is a good book for beginners. The pictures of the actual planes could be bigger. I am not dissapointed, but i'm sure that an air combat book could be way better.
