I've been a hobbyist bookbinder for about four years now, and this is absolutely one of the best guides on the subject. It is aimed at both rebinding damaged books and assembling new ones, covers a number of binding methods, and has numerous helpful pictures.I recommend this book, along with Douglas Cockerell's "Bookbinding", as a title no one interested in hand binding books should be without. |
