This is a useful tool. It's short but not too short, insightful but not too deep. I recommend reading it (or skimming it, if you've already read it) the week before being on a panel discussion to calm your jitters and keep some of the more subtle pointers in mind. Full Disclosure: Alex is a friend of mine from school, but I have actually used this guide before being on panel discussions, and others I've shared it with have found it similarly useful.

Disclaimer: I'm Alex's mom. But that doesn't detract from the fact this is an excellent little book. Alex is a skilled writer (MA Columbia School of Journalism) and he has a lot of experience participating on panels.
