Editorial Reviews

From the Author

Blackjack card counting has been an absolute passion of mine for over 20 years. The strategy and deception can be thrilling, and traveling all over the U.S. was the experience of a lifetime. In my opinion, blackjack card counting is a unique opportunity to make real money and have fun doing it. I hope that readers of this book will appreciate the unique perspective I am able to bring.
To add to the value of this book, I've also added a database of free flashcards and a entirely new count - the Red Zen count. A level two count designed to reduce errors by increasing the chances of any two cards canceling out or equaling zero. The accuracy of the Red Zen system is comparable to any level two system, while it's simplicity is perfect for novice to advanced card counters.
I hope readers will take the time to apply the lessons in this book. The more money readers can make by applying their minds to the reality of advantage play, the happier I will be.

An excellent source of information! I have been using outdated level one systems for a while and finally mustered up the courage to learn a level two system. First I tried Omega but the side counts and conversions made it so hard that I was losing money from mistakes. The red zen system, so well taught here in Modern Card Counting was so much easier than I expected and my bankroll is growing fast. I HIGHLY recommend this book to anyone looking to make more money from the casino.

5.0 out of 5 stars This really works! August 2, 2011

Wow! My boyfriend had become obsessed with wanting to learn how to count cards after watching some movies where actors make it look kind of easy. Secretly, I never ever thought he'd be able to learn to count cards because he's not super great at math or anything. But, when I saw an add for this book at Sams Club, I thought, "why not buy it for him for his birthday?" In two weeks, he actually went to the casino and came home with enough money for us to take a cruise!!!!We had such great luck with this, I just sent a gift copy of the ebook to my brother-in-law to read on his Kindle.
Cheers to the author--brilliant work!

5.0 out of 5 stars The most honest counting book on the market January 17, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition
After reading several other books on blackjack I came across Modern Card Counting. It was incredible how specific this book gets about how much you can expect to win, and how much it is possible to lose . With indebth analysis of standard deviation and how it is affected by bankroll, bet size, and hours played, this book will tell you exactly what to expect. Mathematically you are not guaranteed to make money counting if you only play a few hours. This book doesn't shy away from this fact and instead explains thoroughly how much you must play before huge profits are guaranteed. Gamblers that are serious about winning instead of loosing will love this book, but expect to put in some hours at the casino. A+
