This color is beautiful and exactly as pictured.

The carafe keeps liquid (hot water for tea, coffee) hot for several hours. The inside looks like the old-fashion glass thermos bottles. I'm sure it will keep liquids cold in the hot weather.
I do have a concern about easy breakage like the thermos but so far so good.

It looks great and does its job.

It was a gift to my daughter and she is thrilled with it.

Delighted with the Carafe, I use it for cold water on my bedside table, an antique table I bought in London, so the cognac colour is stunning, very elegant. I am pleased with the quality of this product from Alfi.

I saw a similiar carafe at a bed & breakfast and really wanted one. I searched for it on Amazon and found it. It works real well. I put hot water in it and it stays hot. I have tea whenever I want. Great product.

We use this carafe for our morning coffee. The contents stay hot for two hours or more, long enough for us to finish the pot while doing our emails.

The carafe pours well without dripping, but the screwtop often needs two hands to get unstuck. We haven't found this a problem; we just don't tighten it completely.

The outside of the carafe is easy to keep shiny clean; for the inside, use a long-handled dish mop.

We like to have the tools of day-to-day living be attractive, as well as functional. This carafe is that.

I was very pleased at first when I bought this carafe (in transparent blue) for around $13 on Amazon. The lid was a little quirky in that it was somewhat difficult to line up the threads, and once you sealed it tightly it was a bit tricky to get off again. But it had a nice modern look to it and it kept my coffee hot for hours and hours (it was even lukewarm a full 24 hours later). A wooden spoon through the loop on the lid gives you plenty of leverage if you're having trouble opening it.

But after a little over a year (maybe 16 months), the threads are completely worn out and the lid no longer fits at all -- it just spins in place and no longer seals in the heat, which means this is useless for coffee. Maybe the wear came partly from the troubles I've had all along lining up the threads, but I think you'll find that hard to avoid. It just isn't built to last, and even if it still sold for $13, it would not be a good deal. I'd avoid the Alfi brand altogether, since most of them appear similarly constructed.
