Found this book to be a good overview and intro to ERP systems. It's the perfect book to provide a diverse audience (Accounting, IT, MBA students) with a solid foundation understanding of ERP systems. The book addresses the history of ERP systems, who needs them, how to justify their implementation, and the different enterprise functions that an ERP package can encompass. This book is easy to read and does not bog the reader down in a lot of unnecessary detail. Between this book and the class, my interest in ERP systems was really peaked! Buy this book...you won't regret it!

Used this book for my ERP class, it is easy to read and hits important materail. This book doesn't get bogged down with pointless information, as many text books do.

I found this book to be a good place to start learning about ERP systems and current, big, broad concepts that blend business (particularly accounting) with systems functionality. It introduces terminology and is a fairly easy read with both text and graphics. I came away from the book with a basic understanding of ERPs and references to other sources and concepts to further my understanding and keep current over time.

Neat and concise, hits to the point. Covers all the required basic concepts of ERP. Good place to get a quick understanding of the subject.

Best book to get quick knowledge about ERP. Got me interested in the subject as well as in the field of ERP and probably my Masters in ACC-IT. This book is filled with concepts and all the important things to know about ERP. GREAT for college courses to get students interested!

The Modern ERP text provides the reader all about an ERP package life cycle. The text also deals with topics like CRM, Financial, Manufacturing, auditing and other ERP bolt-ons, which are essentials for any ERP package. The book provides a lot of visual content in the form of graphs, tables, flowcharts and figurative illustrations. I would definitely recommend this book and I rate this to be the best place to start ERP.
