Product Description

These canning labels deliver a completely new way to label your home canning jars. The heat shrink labels offer both a practical and stylish approach to labelling in a clean, classic way -- without the mess of sticky glue. The labels have a stylish front panel on which to label the contents of your jar and a pre-printed back panel to mark the date on which the jar was opened, so as to track the freshness of the contents.
These labels fit nearly all standard 500-millilitre Bernardin, Ball, Kerr, and Mason brand jars. [Note that most Modern Harvest canning labels sold elsewhere will NOT fit Bernardin mason jars.] Made from recyclable plastic and using a water-soluble ink which is free of dangerous chemicals.
Pack of 24 (6 each of 4 designs)
Size: 500 mL
Capacity: 500-millilitre mason jars
Materials: 100% recyclable polymers with water-based inks
Product of United States
Process food in home canning jars as usual and let cool. Heat a pot of water to boiling. Use a permanent marker to write the jar contents on your label and indicate the date you are canning it on the date feature on back of label. Slip the label from the top or bottom of the jar towards the centre and adjust until it is in the location you prefer. Carefully dip the jar into the hot water using your canning tongs. The label will shrink instantly around the jar. To remove, carefully slide a knife under the label and twist to break the label loose.
NOTE: Labels are heat sensitive; do not store in excessive heat
