4.0 out of 5 stars Great book, but expensive as all hell, January 19, 2008

This review is from: Modern Livestock & Poultry (Hardcover)
This is a really good, thorough livestock book. It covers more than a vet tech student will ever need to know about food animal production.

Having said all that, it's way too expensive for a mostly black and white book printed on cheap paper that's one step above newsprint in quality.

The only way someone would fork over 140 bucks for this thing is if they were forced to by an instructor.

If you have to spend 140 bucks on a damned textbook, at least this is a good one.
