I bought this book when I was diagnosed with endo -- I was looking for a very technical text book that comprehensively discussed endo and the various treatment options. I read this book cover to cover and was extremely pleased with the depth of information on the subject at hand. As a warning, there are a lot of medical terms and explanations but I didn't find the subject matter overwhelming in the least. This book gave me a complete understanding of the disease and treatment options -- when I decided to have surgery for my endo I was confident that I was completely informed and there were zero surprises. I would recommend this book for anyone who wants a perspective of endo that can only be obtained from a med school class.
