Kyle Baker may well be the funniest man in comics. With books like The Cowboy Wally Show, Why I Hate Saturn, Plastic Man, and The Bakers on his resume, along with four (of his eight) Eisner Awards in the "Best Writer/Artist Humor" category, it's hard to argue against him. Cartoon artist Kyle Baker is known for his funny comic productions, but he does do serious works too - and this collection blends black and white examples of his work with detailed interviews on how he works with characters, plots and properties to produce exceptional results. Any library strong in modern cartoon artists needs this survey of the extent of his works, which will interest any enthusiast of either Baker or cartoons in general.

This book had a lot of great information about Baker's journey through the comic book business. It's one of the best Modern Masters volumes I have read. Oh yeah, and there's some great art in there too.
