This might be informative, highly educational BUT the print is miniscule. Save your money and your eyesight! Easier to search out and read on-line at least you can adjust the print. It would have been nice to have had a warning that the print was too tiny to read without developing severe eye-strain.

I think the reason it's out of print is not due to errors, but quite the opposite - too much truth in one place not being in the best interest of the unstated goals of the Federal Reserve. The same mechanics of fractional reserve banking and "money" creation is well documented in many other books and papers. See for example "The Creature from Jekyll Island" by G. Edward Griffin, or the "Affidavit of Walker F. Todd" where a former attorney for the Fed of 20 years tells the same story as an expert witness in a case in Michigan. The value of "Modern Money Mechanics" is that it's the same info comming straight from the horses mouth.

I have to agree with Penny on text size. As stated I saw this in the controversial film series Zeitgeist, which is painful to watch also editing wise imho.

A very boring, technical read. I guess that's what econ is overall.

I am still trying to digest all this and figure where I stand. For starters this book which is quoted over and over again in the film has been out of print since 1992 apparently due to errors, etc. So that's a big flag for me alone. I'll continue this after I absorb the rest
