if there were ever a better pictoral example of why "carp" and "love" sound the same in spoken japanese, i'd sure like to know. before you blow the big one on that million-dollar fish, you need to be certain it swims among the ranks of royalty, and in this case Takeo Kuroki is just the man for you. Even if you have never heard of koi and don't frankly give two hoots about fish, buy this book immediately. It will change your life.
