5.0 out of 5 stars Necessary reading for anyone working on Cable Modems, June 18, 1998
This review is from: Modern Quadrature Amplitude Modulation: Principles and Applications for Fixed and Wireless Communications (Hardcover)
This book is a must read. To fully underand the PHY (physical layer) used in cable modems you need good understanding of QAM. As a technical consultant, I need to quickly get up to speed on new technologies. I found this book to be very helpful during a recently completed cable modem consutling project. This book got me quickly up to speed and greatly helped my work in IEEE 802.14, MCNS,and SCTE-DVS.
