"Irreverent" is putting it lightly. This book will be offensive to some, but it's also surprising and hilarious. It's a series of mostly one-page comics, kind of in the Matt Groening "Life In Hell" vein. It's slightly more twisted, however.
For example, (my personal favorite) a painter named Mr. Tourette's who gets hired to paint innocuous slogans on various things -- signs, banners, etc. and always ends up painting something much, much, much, much ... worse. You'll just have to check it out; it's much funnier than I'm portraying it. Think of it as a darker and more profane "Life In Hell." |
