I recently became a MAJOR fan of Modern Warfare 2, particularly Ghost, and bought this comic in hopes of getting more on his backstory, but i was slightly disappointed to find that the main character of the comic wasn't Ghost, but his friend/ comrade S.A.S. Lt. Simon Riley. I probably wouldn't have bought it if i had known the plot, so i'll out line the main points for future buyers*******Basic plot spoilers, but leaving out the specifics*******. It starts off with Ghost telling the story of why he wears the mask. "It's a tribute to an old friend of mine," he says. Then, through ghost's story telling, we see Riley team up with some Americans and go on a mission to Mexico. They go in to a drug cartel's dia de los muertos fiesta, and are going to complete the mission, when it goes wrong, Riley is on the run. the last we see is he is shot while trying to hop a fence. to be continued...
Another note of caution, this comic is recommended for MATURE READERS ONLY!! There is frequent use of the F-Bomb, some prostitution, and a castration. Violence is a staple of course, and there is alcohol and tobacco usage as well. Although these didn't bother me too terribly much, for any parents buying for younger fans, i suggest you reconsider.

These comics have nothing to do with the game where ghost gets shoot then for some reason survives the hole series are ghost as a hostage telling the story of why he wears the bone mask. If you want answers on how ghost survives dont look here.
