Fascinating and informative book. Truly a 'masterwork' in the science and art of color. Has been invaluable to me; and would be to anyone involved with color - in the decorative and fine arts, industry, crafts, education. This book opened up new ways of understanding and appreciating art, especially the art of Pissarro, Seurat, Signac, and other Neo-Impressionist who avidly read and studied this book when it was printed in France in 1881
