Comic Strips as Good as the Stories
Peter O'Donnell created a rarity in Modesty Blaise. She is fully as believable and engaging in her novels and stories as she is in the long-running comic strips. She and her partner Willie cross back and forth as easily as they go from daily life to the beginning of a caper. The strips are classics. I'm collecting all of them, and I already have all the books...

Modesty Blaise!
I only give this 3 stars because I like the novels more than the cartoons. But if I liked cartoons, I'm sure I'd like this.

I have read almost all of the Modesty Blaise books, but had never seen the graphic that made her famous. I found this book quite enjoyable. The drawing was almost as good as the plot, both great, and I got a chance to see the real Modesty. Wish I had her on my comics page when I was growing up.
